Primary Treatment Plant - Swine Processing Plant
This project concerns a Primary Treatment Plant to meet the treatment demands of a pig slaughterhouse. One of the main objectives of the project was to reduce parameters before sending waste to biological treatment, and especially to separate solids through W-DAF physicochemical flotation, separating floated sludge with a solids concentration above 8%, which is then sent to a biodigester. The entire process is automatically supervised and controlled, from equalization to the flotation unit outlet, with automatic turbidity control and chemical dosing.
The applied technology successfully met all objectives, and the plant operates with the lowest possible OPEX.
