In wastewater treatment plants, sludge generation and disposal represent a significant portion of operational costs. In this context, drying emerges as a technically and economically viable alternative for reducing volume and disposal costs through water removal. W-DRY dryers were designed for high efficiency in removing moisture from semi-solid streams. Operating at low temperatures (30–40 °C), they minimize odors, increase operational safety, and preserve the physicochemical characteristics of the material.
