Microbubble generation systems are critical to the performance of flotation units, but they are also among the components most prone to electrical and mechanical failures. With this in mind, the W-BDAF skid was specifically developed for retrofitting existing plants with limitations in their microbubble generation systems. The generation of fine and uniform microbubbles enhances solid–gas contact efficiency, enabling more flexible operation under flow rate fluctuations and optimizing flotation unit performance. In addition, the system is not subject to NR-13 requirements, eliminating the need for periodic inspections.
